The Kim M. Bouchard is the first ATB from Bouchard Transportation fitted with Nautican Integrated Propulsion Units (IPUs). The vessel is a 10,000-hp, twin screw ATB tug, classed by ABS as an A1 Towing Vessel, Dual Mode ATB, and USCG Subchapter M. The Kim M. Bouchard will pair up with Barge B. The Glenn Edwards is part of the Manson fleet of hopper dredge vessels and is the largest capacity trailing suction hopper dredge in the United States. Dredge vessels offer channel and harbor maintenance as well as upland disposal and beach nourishment. The Glenn Edwards stores just over 10,000 square meters of dredged material in hoppers to transport to disposal sites, or can disperse the material directly through discharge outlets. Read more...

Nautican Units Offer Proven Performance Gains in Shallow Water Applications
An international collaboration came together in the construction of a new river pusher tug. Concordia of the Netherlands designed the RP6000 tug for the Japanese and South American owned Astillero Tsuneishi Shipyard, using Nautican high-efficiency nozzles and Nautican’s triple-rudder design. This is the first tug for the Astillero Tsuneishi Shipyard, established in a remote region of Paraguay in 2008. Read more...
